Burger King is donating money to an LGBTQ group with the purchase of its new sandwich, and it’s taking a jab while doing so.

We’re less than two weeks into Pride Month, and it appears Burger King wants to make it a point to Chick-fil-A that it stands in support of the LGBTQIA community. On Twitter, the restaurant announced its new Ch’King sandwich, and along with that, it said 40 cents from every purchase of the sandwich sold this month would be donated to the Human Rights Campaign. HRC is the largest advocacy group for the LGBTQIA, USA Today reports.

“the #ChKing says LGBTQ+ rights! during #pride month (even on Sundays ), your chicken sandwich craving can do good! we are making a donation* to @HRC for every Ch’King sold,” wrote the restaurant. “*6/3-6/30 with every Ch’King sold; BK will contribute 40₵ to the Human Rights Campaign (Max. donation $250k.”

The shade comes after Chick-fil-a’s CEO Dan Cathy publicized his strong Christian beliefs and donating to anti-gay groups. Cathy has also received backlash for his same-sex marriage and his family’s history of giving money to anti-LGBTQIA groups.
