Disneyland will now allow fully vaccinated visitors to go maskless and will begin to welcome back out-of-state guests.
The eased restrictions at the Anaheim-based theme park and resort will go into effect on Tuesday, along with the State of California’s easing overall COVID-19 restrictions. As part of the state’s new regulations, all capacity constraints and social distancing rules will be dropped for fully vaccinated residents.
Guests age two and up who are not fully vaccinated will still be required to wear masks indoors except when eating at Disneyland. Like many other places in the country, visitors will not be asked to prove that they are vaccinated but will be asked to self-attest that they have received the shots before entering the theme park.
Once the Toy Story parking lot reopens on June 18th, both vaccinated, and non-vaccinated guests will be required to wear a mask on the bus transport from the parking lot to the parks.
Additionally, Disneyland is also getting rid of its on-site temperature checks and social distancing regulation. Visitors will still need to make reservations to enter the park.
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will reopen on June 15th with capacity limitations, while the Disneyland Hotel will reopen on July 2nd with capacity restrictions.
Disneyland is bouncing back after being forced to shut down in mid-March 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic gripped the nation.
