Migos says that they deserve to be on Atlanta’s rap Mount Rushmore for their contributions to the trap music scene.

Social media has been buzzing with the rap Mount Rushmore debate for weeks now. During their stop at The Breakfast Club on Monday, the “Culture 3” trio chimed in on the conversation and stated why they believe they deserve all their flowers.

“Us, Gucci Mane,” Quavo stated about who his picks are for the ATL rap Mount Rushmore. Takeoff then added that the Migos should be counted as one, with T.I. also being added to the hypothetical list, which would only feature the best in Atlanta hip-hop.

The topic then shifted from Mount Rushmore to who Migos considers the best Atlanta rappers of all time. Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff all agreed that OutKast is amongst the city’s greats. They also added Lil Jon to the list for leading the crunk and snap era of the late ’90s and early-to-mid 2000s.

“He created a lot of lanes for Atlanta, so you got to put the boy Lil Jon on there,” Offset stated.

Earlier in the conversation, Charlamagne Tha God said that he felt the music industry copied Migos’ sound before they had a chance to capitalize off of it properly.

“I think that’s what we do it for, to inspire,” Takeoff began before ultimately agreeing with the radio host.
