Walmart has removed Foam Runner knockoffs from its website following a rumored lawsuit filed by Kanye West and the Yeezy company.

The previously available range of fake Yeezy Foam Runner alternatives has been deleted from the Walmart site in recent days, according to a TMZ story published early Monday. Of course, as a Walmart representative clarified last week, when news of West’s lawsuit broke, the knockoffs were being sold on the site by third parties, not Walmart.

The counterfeit Yeezys in question were often priced at $30 or less and came in various colorways, some of which did not correspond to official Yeezy releases.

“The product referenced in the complaint is not sold by Walmart, but rather by third-party Marketplace sellers,” a Walmart spokesperson told TMZ last week when responding to the suit, “We take allegations like this seriously and are reviewing the claim. We will respond in court as appropriate after we have been served with the complaint.”

While the status of West’s complaint is unknown, a report published Monday confirmed that the fake Yeezys were no longer available on the Walmart website.

However, as TMZ reported on Monday, other sites are still selling Foam Runner knockoffs. Other companies have not yet been targeted, at least for the time being.

West’s manager, Abou “Bu” Thiam, announced earlier this month that a new album was “on the way.” Thiam also mentioned “West Day Ever” in the Instagram comment in question, a phrase that was all over the internet after West’s enormous GAP deal was announced last year.
