An Iowa man was arrested on Saturday after threatening to blow up a local McDonald’s after workers forgot to include dipping sauce with his chicken McNuggets order.
Robert Golwitzer Jr., 42, called the restaurant at approximately 5:20 p.m. on Saturday after learning his order was wrong. According to police, Golwitzer is accused of threatening to blow up the restaurant and making a reference to assaulting an employee.
Police called Golwitzer at the same number he used to make his threat. They said he admitted to making the threats over the phone and then admitted to making the threats again during an interrogation at the police station.
He was charged with making a false report of an explosive or incendiary device, a Class D felony.
Saturday, he was arrested and freed on Sunday after posting bond.
