Two people were arrested in Texas on suspicion of pulling a gun on a manager at a McDonald’s restaurant because of an argument over salt on their French fries.

According to Newsweek, 23-year- old Davion Guillory and 25-year-old Treykia Cohen were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following a dispute at a McDonald’s restaurant in Harris County on July 4th.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said deputies were flagged down and asked to respond to reports of an aggravated assault at McDonald’s.

A subsequent investigation found that Guillory and Cohen got into an argument with the McDonald’s manager over salt on their fries.

The pair were caught on Surveillance footage displaying firearms at the drive-thru towards the manager during their verbal altercation.

The suspects then drove off, but deputies tracked them down a short time later and detained them.  A firearm was also discovered inside the vehicle.

Constable Mark Herman said Cohen was already out on probation for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon at the time of this incident.

“Davion Guillory and Treykia Cohen were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. They each received a $10,000.00 bond out of the 178th and 180th District Court,” the Constable added.
