A new book claims Donald Trump said whoever “leaked” information about his White House bunker incident should be “executed.”

Trump has said some of the most ghastly things on the record. From mocking disabled people, inciting violence to calling white supremacists “good people,” and more. Now, a new book called “Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost,” written by Michael Bender, claims the shamed former president suggested that death should be given to the person who revealed information about his bunker incident.

For those who don’t remember: back in May, Trump, Melania, and their son, Barron, all went down into the White House’s underground bunker. At the time, it seemed as if the Trump family was trying to hide from people protesting the police killing of George Floyd. White. In the next few days after his bunker stay, Trump allegedly told top military, law enforcement, and West Wing advisors that he was upset over the leak.

“Trump boiled over about the bunker story as soon as they arrived and shouted at them to smoke out whoever had leaked it. It was the most upset some aides had ever seen the president,” Bender writes.

“Whoever did that, they should be charged with treason!’ Trump yelled. ‘They should be executed!'” the book reads, CNN reports. The book goes on to claim that Trump’s former White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, “repeatedly tried to calm the president as startled aides avoided eye contact.” In response, Trump’s top aid allegedly said, “I’m on it. We’re going to find out who did it.”

Trump also allegedly confined to ask about whether or not they found the culprit behind the leak. Bender wrote that Trump repeatedly asked Meadows if he’d found the leaker.” Bender wrote that Trump’s top aide became “obsessed” with finding the leaker.
