First, a failed presidential campaign and now a failed tour. It’s about time that Donald Trump accepts that his 15-minutes of fame have come to a close.
Last month, Trump announced his forthcoming “History Tour” with conservative supporter Bill O’Reilly. However, It is now evident that the White House reject is having difficulty getting his supporters to purchase tickets.
The stadium tour is slated to begin in December with four stops in Texas and Florida. A box office employee in Orlando, which is one stop on the tour, told POLITICO that very few people had turned out to buy tickets for the event, noting that recent concerts have outperformed it. A Houston venue reported similar findings, stating that at least 60 to 65 percent of tickets had not been sold.
O’Reilly shot down the assertions of lackluster ticket purchases, calling the claims in Orlando “bulls—.” In an official statement posted to Twitter, O’Reilly said that the “History Tour” had already made over $7 million with very little marketing. He maintains that the tour will be one of the “most lucrative of all time.”
Trump previously described the speaking gigs as being packed with “fun, fun, fun” while exploring “real problems happening in the U.S., those that the Fake News Media never mention.”
Are you grabbing a ticket to see Donald Trump and Bill O’Reilly?
NEW! The History Tour is going to be GREAT!
