Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been booted off Twitter once again over her “misleading information” about COVID-19.
Taylor is out here spreading lies again about the COVID-19 vaccine, and Twitter has reportedly had enough of it. On Monday, the 47-year-old was temporarily suspended from Twitter after she allegedly violated the platform’s policy against posting “misleading information” about the COVID-19 pandemic.
Greene’s account was placed in a “read-only mode” for 12 hours, a punishment that happens after a person has violated Twitter’s COVID-19 misinformation policy one to two times. If she violates it a fourth time, she will be suspended for a week. According to the New York Post, a fifth violation will lead to her being banned from the site completely, who spoke to a spokesperson for Twitter.
Her suspension came after she responded to a tweet posted by someone else. “In the United Kingdom, 47% of new COVID-19 cases are vaccinated people,” wrote Dr. David Samadi. In return, Greene wrote: “This is why no entity should force NON-FDA approved vaccines or masks. Instead, help people protect their health by defeating obesity, which will protect them from covid [sic] complications & death, and many other health problems. We should invest in health, not human experimentation.”
In another tweet, she said, “Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi’s [sic].”
“Vaccinated employees get a vaccination logo just like the Nazi’s [sic] forced Jewish people to wear a gold star. Vaccine passports & mask mandates create discrimination against unvaxxed people who trust their immune systems to a virus that is 99% survivable,” she wrote.
The controversial #COVID19 vaccines should not be forced on our military for a virus that is not dangerous for non-obese people and those under 65.
With 6,000 vax related deaths and many concerning side effects reported, the vax should be a choice not a mandate for everyone. https://t.co/JhYg3acrrK
