A historic $2.4 million New Orleans mansion said to be owned by Beyoncé caught on fire Wednesday night.

Firefighters confirmed the fire, saying it started at 6:15 p.m. and was fully extinguished about two hours later.

Twenty-two firefighters responded to assist.

“If they didn’t get there when they did, it could have been much worse. It’s a historic home,” a spokesperson from the department told The New York Post. Luckily, there were no injuries and no evacuations.

Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, were reported as the owners by local outlet Nola.com and again by ABC affiliate.

The cause of the fire has not been released.

The 15,200 square foot historic mansion has six bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. It was built in 1927 as the Westminster Presbyterian Church, The Realtor reported.

It was purchased by Sugarcane Park, LLC in 2015. The LLC is operated by Celestine Lawson, which is the legal name of Beyoncé’s mother. It is registered at a Sherman Oaks address, where the singer has several other LLCs.
