A former associate principal at a high school in Iowa killed himself last week as an investigation into allegations he sexually exploited a student is currently ongoing.
According to The New York Post, William Terry, who worked at Marshalltown High School, killed himself inside his basement last Thursday as officers arrived to execute an arrest warrant.
Henry is now the second district employee facing accusations of sexual misconduct to take his own life this month, a report stated.
The 47-year-old had been accused of engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a former student in allegations first reported to police earlier this month.
On July 8, another Marshalltown School employee, a 42-year-old Marshalltown Middle School teacher, named Adam Edgington, fatally shot himself in his car one day after he was caught allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student.
The same report alleged that Edgington was accused of groping and kissing the teen multiple times over the past school year.
Additionally, another ex-gym teacher at Marshalltown High School was arrested on June 30 for allegedly trying to solicit sex from a 17-year-old in a separate case.
