Lamar Odom was ordered to hand over nearly $400,000 to his “Basketball Wives” ex-girlfriend Liza Morales after he allegedly stopped paying child support and other costs related to their two kids.
According to Page Six, Morales sued the former Laker, claiming he didn’t honor their 2015 settlement agreement over their now-grown children since June of last year.
Morales alleged in court that Odom fell behind on child support, college costs, school tuition fees, and rent for the Lower Manhattan apartment where she lives with their two kids, Destiny, now 23, and Lamar Jr., now 19.
Morales claimed that Odom’s failure to pay on the previously agreed upon support led to an eviction case against her.
Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper granted Morales’ request for a default judgement of $380,549 for back child support after Odom failed to appear at a scheduled court hearing last month.
Judge Cooper also ordered Odom to fund a life insurance policy worth $1 million — naming his ex as the beneficiary. Otherwise, the order stated Morales “may enter a judgement against Lamar Odom for an additional $1,000,000.”
