Famed professional skateboarder Terry Kennedy will likely be face charges of homicide now that the man he allegedly attacked has died.
Kennedy allegedly attacked the man inside an Illinois motel. The victim, 23-year-old Josiah Kassahun, passed away on Saturday after the attack. A confrontation so violent, it left the man with a fractured skull and a concussion.
According to TMZ, Kennedy was arrested last week after cops say he attacked Josiah in an Oakbrook Terrace motel, leaving him with a fractured skull and a concussion.
Kennedy was initially booked on assault charges. Prosecutors now have to consider adding a manslaughter or murder charge.
Kennedy was already facing various charges, including aggravated battery in a public place and threatening a public official. His bail was set at $100,000 during a hearing last week but is now expected to surge much higher.
While the motive for the attack is still not clear, social media posts seem to confirm that the 36-year-old pro-skater and the victim were friends at one point.
