Frank Ocean is venturing into a new arena with his Luxury Company Homer.
The company’s first collection will feature silk scarves and handmade jewelry made from 18-karat gold, recycled sterling silver, and hand-painted enamel. The independent American company will also have American lab-grown diamonds.
The products will be handmade in Italy but designed in the U.S., Pitchfork reported.
A press release noted that the company’s name “represents carving history into stone” and that its designs are inspired by “childhood obsessions” and “heritage as a fantasy.”
The singer did the catalog cover and photography for the company, and the campaign imagery was done by Tyrone Lebon, a frequent Ocean collaborator and the director of the “Nikes” music video.
Ocean will open a company jewelry store in Manhattan on August 9.
