Once again, Kanye West uses his personal life for inspiration in his art, using music to address his relationship issues with his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian.
According to People, the 44-year-old rapper held another Donda listening event at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. During the show, West debuted a new song from his still delayed 10th studio album — seemingly titled “Lord I Need You.”
On the track, Ye references the couple’s ongoing divorce and the impact their split has had on him.
“Time and space is a luxury / But you came here to show that you’re still in love with me,” Ye rapped on the track, an apparent reference to Kardashian, who attended both listening events with their four children as a public show of support.
West also debuted updated lyrics to a song called “Love Unconditionally.” At the first listening event, the lyrics were “I’m losing my family.” But multiple media outlets claim West changed the new lyrics to “I’m losing all my family / Darling, come back to me.”
