Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore has filed for divorce from her husband, Marc Daly. Court documents show she is seeking primary custody of their daughter.
Radar obtained a copy of the court filing, which shows the reality star filed for divorce back in May. Moore and Daly were married in June of 2017 but separated about two years later.
The couple shares one child, a daughter named Brooklyn, who was born in 2018. Moore is seeking sole physical and legal custody of the little girl. In Daly’s response to the petition, he asks for joint legal custody but agrees with Moore having primary custody.
Moore has asked for an emergency hearing over “various issues impacting the care, safety, and well-being of the minor child.” However, the court has yet to answer the petition.
In addition to the custody dispute, Moore’s attorneys are asking for assets and debts to be divided equally. She also wishes for the case to be sealed. They cite Moore’s celebrity status as the reason, claiming safety and privacy issues.
“The Petitioner is a high-profile individual who has a vested and heightened interest in keeping her private life from becoming public. Due to her public persona, the Petitioner’s life, safety, and privacy interests are generally the subject of media outlets, and as such,” they wrote.
