Despite their pending divorce, Kim Kardashian is giving credit to her ex Kanye West for helping her to become more confident.
During Wednesday’s episode of “We Are Supported By…,” the beauty mogul told hosts Kristen Bell and Monica Padman that the “Touch the Sky” rapper taught her not to care what people thought of her, which was something she struggled with.
“Maybe it was being in a relationship with Kanye for a decade, someone that absolutely didn’t care about likeability factor or what any of perception of him was as long as he was true to himself.”
The Skims creator added that she “used to be such a people pleaser,” but it was Ye who showed her to “just be more confident in myself and truly not care as much of what other people thought.”
Her kind words towards Kanye come as many on social media believe that the couple may have called off the divorce after she appeared at both of his “Donda” listening events in Atlanta with their four children. In one of Ye’s previewed records, he allegedly said that the 40-year-old was still in love with him. However, neither has commented recently on the status of their breakup.
In February, Kim K filed divorce papers after six years of marriage to the billionaire rapper, producer, and sneaker mogul.
