By now, we all know Nick Cannon and Kevin Hart have a special bond that consists of jokes, even about real-life subjects.
Cannon recently joined Hart on his Peacock talk show “Hart to Heart.” And, of course, both took the time to poke fun at Cannon’s growing family.
Cannon openly discussed his role as a father since becoming a dad of seven.
When asked by comedian Hart, “Who is Nick Cannon as a dad?” The 40-year-old Wild ‘n Out host responded with a laugh.
“I’m a dad to a whole bunch of motherf—.” He even joked around when he was asked how many kids he has.
“I don’t know that.”
“You’re gonna put me on the spot? It’s like Spades, I got eight and a possible nine,” adds the comedian as he and Hart burst into laughter. “I like children, damn it!”
But Cannon got serious when it came to reflecting on the influence he’s able to have by having a lot of kids. “It gives me the ability to say, ‘Man, I can affect so much,’ ” he adds.
In June, Cannon welcomed twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa. Nine days later, his son, with model Alyssa Scott was born.
Back in December, he welcomed his daughter Powerful Queen, who he shares with Brittany Bell. The two also have a 4-year-old son, Golden.
Cannon is also the father of 10-year-old twins, son Moroccan, and daughter Monroe, whom he shares with Mariah Carey.
Last month, Cannon said on his Power 106 Los Angeles radio show that he has been “having these kids on purpose” after City Girls rapper JT told him to “wrap it up.”
“I don’t have no accident,” he said at the time. “Trust me, there’s a lot of people that I could’ve gotten pregnant that I didn’t. … The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant.”
