NBA vet LeBron James has responded after receiving zero votes from scouts and execs for best player in the league.

The 10 NBA executives and scouts voted on several items. For the best player going into the upcoming season, the tallies were split between Milwaukee Bucks power forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brooklyn Nets power forward Kevin Durant. This came as a shock to many, as LeBron is widely regarded as the best player in the league.

Once news of the polls hit the internet, fans and haters of the 36-year-old Los Angeles Lakers immediately began voicing their disdain or agreement with the results. When one Twitter user responded to the poll results with the word “washed,” the “Space Jam 2” star wasted no time clapping back.

“#SUPERWASHED,” LeBron tweeted. He followed up with another tweet, writing that the survey was exactly what he needed to motivate him to go harder, now using the hashtag, “Washed.”

LeBron James, who is entering his 19th season in the NBA, also clapped back weeks ago on Twitter to fans who claimed that the Lakers lineup was too old, telling doubters to “Keep that same narrative ENERGY.”
