Rapper and singer Yung Bleu was the victim of racial profiling earlier this week while trying to purchase a trailer for his upcoming tour.
The “You’re Mines Still” crooner shared a video on Monday which seemingly showed officers with the Gainesville, Georgia police department profiling the entertainer and his entourage as they attempted to purchase the vehicle from Absolute Trailers. The most shocking part of the incident was that the shop’s owner, a white man, called police on the crew and claimed they were trying to make a fraudulent purchase, despite not having made it into the store.
“THESE GAINESVILLE, GA POLICE OFFICERS are racially profiling us!” he captioned the video. “They approached me and my team for absolutely nothing, trying to buy a trailer for my tour at (Absolute Trailers). The owner was an old white guy who called the police talking about the suspect fraud!”
According to the 27-year-old, the situation could have turned deadly due to the cops approaching him with their hands on their weapons in a threatening manner.
After exchanging words with the officers, Bleu attempted to leave the scene, only to be greeted by officers waiting on them as they got onto the highway. His vehicle was pulled over for an “obstructed” tag, and five cop cars responded to the minuscule traffic stop. He was ultimately arrested for having a suspended license.

Monday evening, Bleu posted “I’m good” on his Instagram story after posting bail.
