A La Puente man stole more than 600,000 photos from Apple iCloud accounts so he could see private nude images of women.
A Southern California man hacked Apple iCloud accounts on a hunt to find nude photos of women, according to federal authorities, KTLA reports. Police say the man obtained 620,000 private photos and videos.
The pervert’s name is Hao Kuo Chi, 40, of La Puente, California. He pleaded guilty to four felonies, including conspiracy to gain unauthorized access to a computer. Chi – who goes by David – says he disguised himself as an Apple customer support staff in email and mislead customers into giving him their Apple IDs and passwords, court records show, according to the Los Angeles Times.
He was able to steal photos and videos from at least 306 young women in the country.
Chi claims he performed the heinous crimes because people he met online asked him to as part of his online theft job in which he sells himself as an online hacker. His name is “icloudripper4you.”
Well, he may be bunked with his own personal ripper in prison. He faces five years in prison for each of the four crimes he pleads guilty to.
