Days after doubling down on his past homophobic comments, Boosie now says he loves the LGBTQ community.

On Tuesday, the “Set It Off” rapper used his Instagram to show the world that he has no malice towards anyone with differing sexual identities. To prove this, Badazz expressed his love for his tour manager, Jay Copper, who is gay. The now-viral video played soft piano music in the background as Boosie explained his position.

“This is my tour manager. He takes care of a lot of business. That’s Jay Cooper. He go get the money right there. People don’t understand, Jay, that I have nothing against gay people or nothing like that. You’re gay. You make half my money! I’m just misunderstood sometimes. Sometimes I just say it the wrong way. [Gay people] be misunderstood. I got family members [that are] gay, like, gay people have better hearts than us regular n—-s,” the 38-year-old proclaimed.

Two days before making the video, Boosie told the Breakfast Club that he believes straight people “don’t have an opinion” and are often censored for what they are allowed to say. He also doubled down on his statement about Lil Nas X, saying that he would disapprove of his sons seeing Lil Nas X performing on stage scantily clothed.
