Kurt “Big Boy” Alexander is getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and other greats have decorated the streets of Hollywood Boulevard with their names engraved onto its stars, signifying their impact in their respective entertainment industries. And the latest to receive the honor is longtime radio personality, Big Boy.
According to All Access, the 51-year-old is set to receive his star in the category of radio at 6212 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Amoeba Music Hollywood. In addition, celebrities like George Lopez and Dr. Dre will appear as guest speakers. Nicole Mihalka will act as emcee.
Big Boy’s achievements range from winning Personality of the Year in the Radio Music Awards four times, becoming a recipient of the Nab Marconi three-time and being inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. Not to mention, his notoriety has landed him roles in heavy-hitting TV shows and films, including “The Longest Yard,” “Charlie’s Angels 2,” “Entourage,” and more.
