A teacher in California has been arrested on suspicion of being a child molester.
Last week, police arrested 52-year-old Jason Bissell, a Notre Dame High School teacher in Sherman Oaks, on suspicion of child molestation. Police say he was taken into custody over an “alleged ongoing inappropriate sexual conduct,” which was reportedly going on while he worked at the school.
Bissell has been with the institution for 15 years, according to KTLA. A spokesperson for the school said it would be working with the Los Angeles Police Department in the case.
Bissell is set to appear in court on Oct. 12; his bail has been reduced from $1.4 million to $710,000. He now faces multiple felony charges.
