Yesterday Janice Dickinson did an interview with Entertainment Tonight where she confessed that Bill Cosby drugged and raped her over 30 years ago. Now Cosby’s lawyer, Marty Singer has responded in a letter calling Janice’s claims “a defamatory fabrication.”
“Her new story claiming that she had been sexually assaulted is a defamatory fabrication,” Singer told TheWrap. He also says that Bill Cosby did not have anything retracted from Janice’s book. “Neither Mr. Cosby or any of his attorneys were ever told by Harper Collins that Ms. Dickinson had supposedly planned to write that he had sexually assaulted her, and neither Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives ever communication [sic] with the publisher about any alleged rape or sexual assault about the book,” said Singer.
In related news, Netflix seems to be siding with the women. Netflix has decided to distance themselves from Bill Cosby by not launching his comedy special. “At this time we are postponing the launch of the new stand up comedy special ‘Bill Cosby 77′,” Netflix said in a statement.
