Police are looking for a deranged man who threatened to blow up a Brooklyn synagogue on Sunday.
The unidentified man wearing a bright green t-shirt made the threats around 3:00 p.m. when he approached a 23-year-old man standing in front of Congregation Bnai Usher Tenka on 12th Avenue near 47th Street in Borough Park. Unprovoked, he angrily began to spew anti-semitic comments at the bystander, declaring “kill all Jews.” He also told the startled man that he was going to blow up the synagogue before taking off.
Before leaving the place of worship, the potentially dangerous bigot was captured on video surveillance, but police have yet to identify him.
The New York Police Department’s Hate Crime Task Force is now looking for the unknown assailant.
