Completely drunk? Leaving Las Vegas part 2? Is Nicholas Cage preparing for a sequel to his Oscar-winning movie?
Last Monday, Nicholas Cage was seen at Lawry’s Prime Rib in Las Vegas ‘completely drunk,’ according to an eyewitness. In a video clip, a man is heard saying, “Nicolas Cage here is a little f—ked up.”
Cage is seen sitting on a couch, barefoot and unshaved, wearing leopard-print pants and a black shirt.
A guest at the restaurant says that initially, everyone thought Nicholas was “a homeless man completely drunk and being rowdy.”
“He was in a really bad state and was walking around shoeless. Staff told us he had been downing shots of tequila and 1980 Macallan whiskey, another witness said.
The clip ends with Nicholas seemingly trying to make his way back into the bar trying to confront the staff member who tossed him out.
This behavior comes as no surprise as Cage, who lost his mother earlier this year, has previously dealt with issues pertaining to alcohol. In March 2019, the actor had his marriage annulled. According to Nick, “he was too drunk to understand the full impact of his actions.” And in a 2018 interview, Nicholas admits throwing himself into his work to not “self-destruct.”
“Then I’m just going to sit and order two bottles of red wine and dissolve, and I don’t want to be that person, so I have to work,” he said.
