Mike Tyson confirmed he’s willing to step into the ring with one of the Paul brothers because he knows it could mean a significant payday.
Tyson discussed the possibility of fighting with one of the Paul brothers on the latest episode of his “Hotboxin’ Podcast” with guest Freddie Gibbs.
The two were discussing the current state of boxing and the legend admitted that “boxing fell off,” which led both men to talk about matchups they would most like to see.
Gibbs was critical of the popularity of celebrity boxing matches. “They just need to put the right fights together, man. You know what I’m sayin’?” he said. “I’m sick of seeing of all these Jake Paul fights and all that type of sh*t.”
“Well, that’s the money fight,” Tyson explained. “Those are the fights that make the money. Those guys have 75 million people watching them.”
When Gibbs asked if Tyson would fight one of the Paul brothers, Tyson didn’t hesitate before telling him, “Hell yeah. They would, that would be a lot of money,” he said.
Tyson did admit that he would prefer to fight Logan Paul and said he was confident the fight could actually happen because everyone involved wants the money.
“$100 million bucks? They’ll do anything,” Tyson told Gibbs.
