Ray J has been hospitalized with pneumonia that isn’t related to COVID-19, but he was placed in the COVID-19 wing. During his time there, he filed to divorce his wife.
According to Ray J’s manager, Ray J has been in the hospital for four days now, struggling with an intense pneumonia case. TMZ reports that when Ray was admitted, doctors assumed he had COVID-19 and placed him in the COVID-19 wing of the hospital.
“I thought it was over. I started praying and knew God is good, so I just kept praying,” Ray told the news outlet over the phone.
During their conversation, Ray J told TMZ that he’s having difficulty breathing and talking, and he fluctuates between feeling healthy and feeling terribly ill. Since his stay at the hospital, he’s taken five COVID-19 tests, all of which have come back negative.
In the midst of this happening, Ray J has also filed for divorce from his wife, Princess Love, on Wednesday in L.A. County Superior Court. This is the third time the couple has filed court documents to get a divorce. The first time, Princess filed for divorce. Ray filed for divorce the second and now the third time.
The two both have a home together in Florida, where they share a home and care for their two children.
