A Maryland man has been charged with the murders of his brother, sister-in-law, and another woman.
Police believe the accused killer, Jeffery Burnham, targeted the individuals because his brother, a pharmacist, was administering COVID-19 vaccines.
Court documents say that 46-year-old Burnham “wanted to confront” his brother about “the government poisoning people with COVID vaccines.” It said that Burnham “repeatedly stated, ‘Brian knows something!'”
His mother told investigators that Burnham had planned to confront his brother, Brian Robinette.
According to the affidavits, Burnham also killed Robinette’s wife, Kelly Sue Robinette, 57, and his mother’s friend, Rebecca Reynolds, 83.
According to CBS News radio affiliate WTOP-AM, Burnham has been charged with two counts of first- and second-degree murder, as well as firearms charges. Police have stated that he will also be charged with the death of Reynolds after her body was found at a residence with obvious trauma.
On September 30, authorities allege Burnham took Reynolds’ 2020 Lincoln and traveled two hours to Ellicott City.
The stolen Lincoln was discovered by Howard County Police, who then discovered the Robinette’s resided nearby. Police found the couple shot to death inside their home when they arrived.
Burnham had allegedly stolen their 2007 red Chevrolet Corvette after killing them.
Police say he was seen in the stolen Corvette on the side of a road in Davis, West Virginia on October 1 at around 9 AM.
According to Howard County Police, West Virginia State Police apprehended him without incident and discovered a gun inside the vehicle.
