Tips On Overcoming Your Fear Of Flying

British Airways will no longer refer to their passengers as “ladies” and “gentlemen” as part of their push to use gender-neutral terms.

“We celebrate diversity and inclusion, and we’re committed to ensuring that all our customers feel welcome when traveling with us,” the airline’s spokesperson stated.

Customers boarding British Airways flights can expect to no longer be greeted by the pilot and attendants using the outdated terms, but in a way that is inclusive for all. Alternatives could include welcoming travelers as “people,” “travelers,” “passengers,” or “guests.”

British Airways joins several other airlines that have already begun practicing gender-neutral greetings. Delta, Air Malta, American Airlines, Japan Airlines, United, and several others are pushing to make all travelers comfortable.

Not everyone is here for this inclusivity move. Outspoken broadcaster Piers Morgan called it “nonsense.”

“The eradication of gender-specific language is a pathetic surrender to the woke brigade. Most people identify as men or women, where are OUR rights to be called what WE want to be called?” he tweeted Sunday.

I hope @British_Airways staff ignore this virtue-signalling nonsense. The eradication of gender specific language is a pathetic surrender to the woke brigade. Most people identify as men or women, where are OUR rights to be called what WE want to be called? https://t.co/8WWbSkpmSF
