Walmart Announces “Black Friday Deals For Days,” Walmart+ Members Get Early Access

Retail giant Walmart announced Monday that its Black Friday deals will be spread out over three different events, just like the company did last year. 

The three “Black Friday Deals For Days” will start online and then continue in-store. The first one begins online on November 3 at 7 p.m. ET and then starts in stores on November 5 at 5 a.m. local time. 

The second sale starts on November 7 p.m. ET and then November 12 at 5 a.m. local time at Walmart locations. The retailer did not reveal the dates for the third sale yet. Walmart did say the event “will wrap up a month of savings with a third event that will bring its biggest, best savings of the season for the most exciting shopping day of the year.” 

Walmart+ members will be afforded early access to the deals. They will be able to shop hours earlier than non-Walmart+ members. It costs $98 a year or $12.95 if paid in monthly installments. It includes free shipping, and there is no minimum you need to spend to get the free shipping. 

However, USA Today confirmed that if you are enjoying a free trial of the program, you will not be eligible for the Black Friday deals.

Walmart also announced it would be closed on Thanksgiving again this year. This is only the second time the retailer has closed since the late 1980s, citing the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
