The families of the victims killed by Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz believe that he does not deserve a second chance and should be executed.

On Wednesday fathers of two of the students killed by Cruz told TMZ that they didn’t believe Cruz’s courtroom apology and that he shouldn’t be given another chance as his trial date approaches.

According to Max Schachter, the father of the 14-year-old victim, Alex, described Cruz as “a sadistic murderer and he deserves to die.” He also thinks Cruz’s request for a second chance is “laughable” and that he should be executed.

Tony Montalto, the father of another victim, Gina, also rejected Cruz’s apology. He said, “If he wanted to do something for our families, he wouldn’t have killed our loved ones.”

According to Tony, Cruz didn’t give his daughter a chance when he shot her four times, so why should he be given a second chance at life?

That same day, Cruz changed his plea to guilty. He allegedly pleaded with the victim’s families, telling them that he was sorry and loved them, making it clear that he did not want to be executed.

Tony, who was in court to hear Cruz, calls the profuse apology “ridiculous” and “painful,” and thinks Cruz should be prosecuted to the greatest extent of the law to prevent future mass shootings.

Cruz faces life in prison or the death penalty after pleading guilty to 34 counts, including 17 premeditated murders and 17 attempted murders, and while he believes the families should decide his destiny, it appears that he may not be pleased with their decision.
