Young Thug has filed a lawsuit over one of his bags of cash jewelry that was stolen.
Last week, Young Thug sued an apartment complex after he claimed an apartment concierge let an unknown person into his room, resulting in his Louis Vuitton bag being stolen. Inside the bag were about 200 unreleased songs and more than $100,000 worth of jewelry and cash, AP News reports.
The company that owns the apartment complex, JLB Peachtree, and concierge company Pegasus Residential were named in the lawsuit. Young Thug filed the lawsuit in Gwinnett County Superior Court.
The lawsuit states that a concierge at Trace Apartments placed Thugger’s bag in a secure area after the rapper left it next to his car on Nov. 1, 2020. At some point after that, another employee gave it to someone else, AP News reports.
The songs that were stolen were saved onto a hard drive; each song is reportedly worth at least $1 million each. In addition, Young Thug had about $40,000 in cash in the bag, along with a diamond-encrusted watch that’s worth $57,000 and a $37,000 chain with inset diamonds, AP News reports.
