NeNe Leakes is calling out estranged friend and former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Cynthia Bailey for failing to come around immediately after the passing of her husband, Gregg Leakes.
The OG Housewife appeared on V-103 Wednesday morning, where she explained that Bailey did not attend Gregg’s funeral.
“Cynthia didn’t even come to the repast. She did come like a week later after everything was done,” NeNe shared before adding that her former friend stopped by her lounge to check on her.
Bailey previously told Page Six that she didn’t attend because she was out of town, however, was content with her decision because she had a more intimate time with her a week later.
“I’m really glad, honestly looking back, that I didn’t make it to the actual celebration because I think if I had, I never would have had the moment that I got to have with her just hanging out with her at her lounge,” Bailey explained not long after Gregg’s passing.
NeNe didn’t stop her criticism of Bailey. She used her time on the radio to aim at all of the Housewives for pitching in to buy her one bouquet instead of sending individual condolence gifts.
“Actually, I was surprised because the first set of flowers I got was a bouquet from like all the Housewives. Like, they went in together,” NeNe said, seemingly shocked that the women only sent one floral arrangement.
The 53-year-old blasted the women for needing to “go in together and buy some damn flowers.”
She did not elaborate on which Housewives pitched in on the flowers. However, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Lisa Wu, and Eva Marcille were among those who showed up to pay their respects to Gregg, who was one of the favorite House Husbands on the series.
