Snoop Dogg says Dr. Dre is working on new music for the next Grand Theft Auto video game.
Whether it’s Tommy Vercetti, Niko or C.J., we never get tired of playing the video game classic, Grand Theft Auto. Not only are they some of the most fun games to play, the cast of the games often feature some of the most well-known celebs as characters, including Samuel L. Jackson, Danny Trejo, Ice T, The Game and more. GTA also includes original music from artists as well, which will be the case in this next installation to the franchise.
Snoop Dogg shared that Dr. Dre is already in the studio making tunes for the next game during an episode of the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast.
“He’s making great fucking music. And some of his music is connected to the GTA game that’s coming out. So I think that will be the way that his music will be released, through the GTA video game,” Snoop told the podcast in the episode, which is set to air Oct. 29.
This will be the first time Dre has dropped some music since his 2015 studio album “Compton. But, earlier this month, DJ BattleCat seemingly revealed that new music would be coming from Snoop and Dre, adding that it might be out by the end of 2021.
