Would you turn down $9 million if you had to get vaccinated? Well, actor Ice Cube did.
Apparently, he is so against taking the COVID-19 vaccine that he turned down a film role that would have paid out millions, The Daily Beast reported.
Cube left the Sony comedy Oh Hell No! after he turned down requests from producers to get vaccinated. The film is set to star Jack Black and is scheduled to start production in Hawaii next month.
This isn’t the first production he has walked away from since the start of the pandemic. He was set to appear in a boxing film that began filming one day before the pandemic.
Despite his stance on vaccinations, he is in support of masks. Amid the spike of the Delta variant wave late this summer, he donated 2,000 face masks to a college in Oklahoma. He also sold shirts that encouraged mask-wearing shortly after the pandemic started.
