A Florida couple faces serious charges after authorities accused them of beating a 12-year-old boy and leaving him to die.
According to Brevard County Jail records, Jason Godleski, 33, is behind bars and has been charged with the manslaughter of a child and failure to report a death.
Godleski was arrested on October 26. Four days before, he went inside the Palm Bay Police Department to report the death of his son, claiming he had died in his sleep, PEOPLE reported.
But when officers went out to the home, they found the boy, Noah, dead inside the home’s laundry room, Police Chief Nelson Moya reported.
Moya added that there were “obvious forms of trauma, evidence of trauma, and more disturbingly, he had been there for some time.”

We made some disturbing findings that we’re swe’retrying to confirm.”
Polic” also learned that it was possible that in 2013 and 2018, Dubose was arrested for child abuse of Noah.
