Cardi B has been tapped to host the 2021 American Music Awards.
Cardi is a woman of many talents, and her talents are about to be extended into hosting as the musician is set to make her hosting debut at the AMAs. In a statement, the artist said she was thrilled with excitement.
“When I received the invite to host the AMAs, I was so excited,” said Cardi. “I’m ready to bring my personality to the AMAs stage! Thank you to Jesse Collins, ABC and MRC for making this happen.”
Collins, the AMA’s executive producer, shares the same energy as the Grammy-winning rapper.
“We are immensely excited to have the dynamic Cardi B bring her infectious energy to the American Music Awards as a first-time host,” Collins shared. “She will excite the viewers, push the limits and deliver a show that will be remembered forever!”
This should be a breeze for the Bronx native, who has become well-known for her hilarious and entertaining personality just as much as her music.
The show will take place in Los Angeles on Nov. 21 at 8 pm ET.
