Henry Ruggs is in a heap of trouble following his recent car crash that left a woman and her dog dead.
Video footage from that tragic early morning shows the former NFL Raiders star sobbing and crying by his girlfriend Kiara Washington as the victim’s Toyota was engulfed in flames.
Ruggs Corvette hit the back of the woman’s RAV4 around 3:40 am in Las Vegas, TMZ reported.
Ruggs and Washington are seen hugging one another, and in some parts, their emotional conversation can be heard.
“OK. OK, here,” Washington tells Ruggs as she grabs his face. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”
He responded, “F***!!! Stop yelling!!!”
One witness who arrived minutes after the crash can be heard telling police, “That’s Henry Ruggs right here. That’s Henry Ruggs right here. He plays for the Raiders.”
Washington is then sent into a panic as Ruggs is seen drifting in and out of consciousness.
“Can we get help?!?” the woman yelled. “Can you please help him!?!” He is knocked unconscious!”
Authorities say that the NFLer showed signs of impairment on the scene. After receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, he was charged and arrested for DUI and reckless driving.
He is accused of going 156mph before the crash, and at the time of the collision, he hit the victim’s car at 127mph.
Prosecutors say his bloodwork showed he had a BAC of .161, which is more than two times the legal limit of .08.
Authorities also found a loaded gun in his car.
He was released on a $150,000 bond.
