Three men face burglary charges after attempting to swipe close to $100,000 from Miami sneaker store Token Miami.

The store’s owner, Myrick Mitchell, was alerted to Wednesday’s break-in by the security company. The three men were able to gain access to the store through the backdoor. The back entrance was boarded up from a previous robbery attempt.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located the getaway car nearby. The three men were trying to escape, but officers were able to detain them. Miami police arrested Marquis Melton, 25, Rudolph Lightbourne, 38, and Benjamin Whitfield, 55.

The high-end sneaker store sells mostly limited-edition sneakers, clothing, and collectibles. Mitchell told NBC 6 that the most expensive pair of sneakers the store sells is listed for $8,000.

The men were attempting to make off with items from the Chrome Hearts brand. Of the brand, Mitchell said, “Chrome Hearts is probably one of the most limited, sought-after brands, probably across the world.”

According to Mitchell, this is the store’s third break-in in the last few months.
