Larry Hoover Jr. is attempting to mediate a truce between Kanye West and Drake, urging the two to put their differences aside and work together to free his infamous father.
According to TMZ, Hoover Jr. thinks that Drake has the ability to help free his father Larry Hoover if he puts his pride aside and accepts Kanye’s peace offering, which a is charity concert that includes them both. Hoover Sr. co-founded Chicago street gang Gangster Disciples and is serving six life sentences.
Kanye has been campaigning for Hoover’s release and has since reached out to Drake to join him for the upcoming Free Larry Hoover Concert on Dec. 7 in Los Angeles.
Larry Jr. claims that he and his mother, Winndye, met Drake a few months ago at J. Prince’s house in Texas, which is why he believes it’s important for them to put their differences aside and collaborate.
Despite the fact that Hoover was convicted of murder, many people believe he has served enough time in prison… and Larry Jr. believes his father is eligible for release.
