The 9-year-old boy who fell off his father’s shoulders and was trampled during Travis Scott’s Astroworld has died of his injuries.

On Friday, the boy’s father, Treston Blount, confirmed that his son Ezra Blount was on life support. Unfortunately, on Sunday, the family informed KTRK-TV that the young boy had died.

Ezra’s death brings the death toll from the tragic November 5 concert to ten.

Bharti Shahani died November 10, and eight others were pronounced dead the night of the event, the New York Daily reported.

Ezra’s father wasn’t ready to give up hope.

“I could tell that he was damaged,” Blount told ABC 13 on Friday. “I’m not ready to lose my boy at all. We still got a bunch of living to do. … That’s my boy.”

“The Blount family tonight is grieving the incomprehensible loss of their precious young son,” civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who has filed nearly 100 lawsuits on behalf of the Blounts and other bereaved families, stated in a statement to the Daily News. “This should not have been the outcome of taking their son to a concert, what should have been a joyful celebration. Ezra’s death is absolutely heartbreaking. We are committed to seeking answers and justice for the Blount family. But tonight we stand in solidarity with the family, in grief, and in prayer.”

Ezra was described by his father as a huge Scott fan and was on his dad’s shoulders when Treston fell unconscious during the chaos amid the crowd. By the time he came to, Ezra had seemingly vanished.

Eventually, the Blounts were able to locate Ezra down at a local hospital, where he had been admitted as a John Doe.

Doctors told the family that the young boy had suffered severe swelling in his brain and that he had gone into cardiac arrest either at the concert or on the way to the hospital.

Ezra also suffered liver and kidney damage from being “kicked, stepped on, and trampled, and nearly crushed to death.”

Crump has helped the family file a lawsuit against Scott, ScoreMore Management, Live Nation Entertainment, Cactus Jack Records, etc.

However, attorneys for Scott say the rapper shouldn’t be held responsible because he wasn’t aware of what was going on in the crowd while he was performing.

“Travis didn’t really understand the full effect of everything until the next morning. Truly he did not know what was going on,” one of his lawyers, Edwin McPherson, said on “Good Morning America” Friday.

“Understand that when he’s up on the stage and he has flashpots going off around him and he has an ear monitor that has music blasting through it and his own voice, he can’t hear anything, he can’t see anything.”

Scott offered to pay for the funerals of the victims and therapy for the survivors.
