Iconic model Iman says she’ll never remarry following her late husband’s death and music legend David Bowie.

Losing a spouse or significant other is one of the most painful journeys to go through, and for some, getting back into the dating game just isn’t an option they’d like to choose. Those are the sentiments of 66-year-old supermodel Iman, who said she would never be another wife to any other man after Bowie’s passing.

When asked if she would ever get married again, she said she still feels like she is. “I said, ‘No, I will not.’ I still feel married,” Iman said. “Someone a few years ago referred to David as my late husband, and I said ‘No, he’s not my late husband. He’s my husband.'”

“I definitely feel his presence, especially when I look out over the glorious sunsets at our home because David loves sunsets,” she went on. “So in that way he is ever-present. Through my memory, my love lives.”

Iman and Bowie met on a blind date that a mutual friend set up. They were wed June 6, 1992, and brought their now 21-year-old daughter into the world in 2000. Bowie passed away at age 69 in 2016 after battling liver cancer, ET Online reports.
