T-Pain and Usher finally joined one another onstage to end their longstanding feud during a recent Dave Chappelle event.
On Sunday night, the two iconic singers hit the stage together during an after-party concert held to celebrate Dave Chappelle’s forthcoming documentary, “Untitled.” During the reunion, T-Pain assured the “Confessions” star that he had nothing but love for him despite his past comments.
“I’m telling you, we ain’t going through nothing, bro. We ain’t going through a goddamn thing. It’s all love,” the “I’m Sprung” crooner stated as the crowd cheered.
The long-awaited conclusion to their dispute was months in the making. T-Pain previously accused Usher of sparking his four-year depression by telling him that he’d ruined music “for real singers” by popularizing auto-tune. After hearing T-Pain’s revelation, Usher told Billboard in August that the men had spoken and buried the hatchet, though T-Pain revealed a few weeks ago that his fellow singer never actually reached out to him, though they had plans to speak.
Nevertheless, the two put the issue to rest once and for all, which was seen in a touching clip posted to @2cool2bl0g. The video attracted hundreds of comments, with fans praising the men for their maturity. In contrast, others slammed Usher for not offering more of an apology, while T-Pain did most of the talking before the video ended.
No matter how the dispute ended, we’re glad these two are moving forward.
