Jury Reaches Verdict in Ahmuad Arbery Murder Trial, All Three Defendants Found Guilty of Murder

Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael, and William "Roddie" Bryan Jr.

Wednesday a jury reached a verdict on murder charges against the three white men who chased down and murdered Ahmaud Arbery in February 2020.

Travis McMichael, and his father Gregory McMichael, as well as their neighbor William ‘Roddie’ Bryan were found guilty of murder, among other charges.

Travis McMichael, the gunman who shot and killed Arbery, was found guilty on the charge of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and criminal attempt to commit a felony. Gregory McMichael, was found guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and criminal attempt to commit a felony; and not guilty of malice murder. Bryan was found guilty of felony murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and criminal attempt to commit a felony. Bryan was found not guilty of malice murder and one of the felony murder charges and a felony assault charge.

Ahmaud Arbery was jogging through the New Brunswick, GA-area neighborhood when he was shot and killed on February 23, 2020.
