Celebrity stylist Law Roach’s 3-year-old nephew is dead after falling 17 stories out of a Chicago residential building.
Lamar Roach Jr. died on Tuesday after the fall. People reports that the boy was “found unresponsive laying on the sidewalk outside of the building” at about 10:40 p.m. According to Chicago Police, the screen of a window had been pulled in.
The toddler was brought to Lurie Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Roach Jr.’s death is still under investigation, and an autopsy was performed Thursday.
Roach confirmed his nephew’s death in a series of Instagram Story posts.
“Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. This is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to deal with. No one should have to bury a 3 yr old [sic] baby,” he wrote in one.
