Grammy nominated gospel singer James Fortune has been arrested and while details are still being released, it appears as if he may be arrested for harming a family member (I wonder if it was another child).Â

According to staffers at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s office, Fortune was released on a $20,000 bond. He was charged with aggravated assault to a family member. The Factor has not been able to reach Fortune’s reps as of yet but we’re working on it. Details to come. Stand by!
Note: You may remember in 2012, James Fortune was accused in a civil lawsuit of abusing his 4 year old stepson in 2001, by putting him in scolding hot water. That child is now 17 years old.Â
