American entrepreneur and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban just purchased a small, nearly empty Texas town.

A 76.8-acre community in Mustang, Texas, now belongs to Cuban. The town is about 65 miles south of American Airlines Center, where Cuban’s Dallas Mavericks play. The businessman says there are no solidified details for the land for now.

“Did it to help out a friend. No plans yet!” Cuban said in an email to NBC.

According to Mike Turner, president of Dallas real estate firm J. Elmer Turner, the town had been on the market for nearly four years. It was previously owned by Marty Price, who wanted to sell it after becoming ill, NBC News reports. Price passed away this past August; he was a huge fan of the Mavericks.

The news outlet reports that the town was sold for less than $4 million. “Mark Cuban stepped up, and it was a natural for him to buy it,” Turner told NBC News. “With his resources and imagination, I’m sure there are endless possibilities.”
