Meagan Good Wants To Become A Gun Owner Following The Rise Of L.A.’s Crime Rate

Meagan Good says she is considering purchasing a handgun following a home invasion trend.

The actress sat down with Charlamagne Tha God for his new show ‘Tha God’s Honest Truth.’ After mentioning Meagan’s new movie, Charlamagne asked Good if she owned a gun. Meagan went on to say initially, she felt like she didn’t need one, but she does now.

“You know, what’s crazy is for a long time, I felt like I didn’t. But now, with everything that’s going on, I would feel more comfortable with a gun,” Good says.

Meagan continued explaining her stance and said she felt she wouldn’t have enough time to get the gun in danger. “The reason before my thought was like if something did happen to me, would I have the time to pull out a gun to defend myself?”

However, Meagan says she does not intend to shoot or kill anyone but will protect herself if needed. “I don’t want to kill anybody or hurt anybody, but I will defend myself.”

Meagan comments come just shortly after a slew of home invasions in Los Angeles. Music producer Clarence Avant’s wife was just shot and killed during a robbery at their Beverly Hills home.
